I have owned the G5, G400, G500s and G500. I guess I really like the shape. I needed to upgrade due to sensor starting to go out on the G500 and went with the G502. I was really surprised how it felt and didn't like it.
The G502 is narrow and seemed to have a weird resting place for my thumb. There is also a DPI Shift button, which seems like a great idea, however this button protrudes and makes the thumb have no place to rest.
I still looking for a new mouse and have recently bought and returned the SS Rival 300, and now a Zowie EC2-A, which I'm not sure if I'm in love with as the palm feels too wide and there isnt any software with the mouse..
I'm thinking of giving the G402, G303, and G403 a whirl. I'm doing it all through amazon so its been fairly easy to return thus far. Any advice would be appreciated.
I feel like my biggest problem lately is I've been looking for mice that mimic the same ergonomics as the previous mice, but keep getting burned as the shapes just dont feel right. I'd consider the g500 to have a big shape whereas there are mice with lesser risky shapes. Maybe I should look into these?
