Hello guys, I hope you're doing well.

I am trying to decide on which mechanical keyboard to buy. I currently have two choices

1) NEW Logitech G710 ( Not the plus) Uses Cherry MX Blues. About $110

2) USED Corsair K90 uses Cherry MX Red Switches. About $110

3) NEW CM Storm QuickFire Ultimate Uses Cherry MX Red. About $125

I've never used a mechanical keyboard before. I intend to use it as my daily driver.

Solution
THe corsair k90 as the keys can be taken out for cleaning easily .I'm not sure about the logitech. Customer service of corsair is A+ as well.

Most Mechanical keyboard performs the same. It's really the cosmetics and other added features (like macros ) that usually attracts the buyer. You won't go wrong purchasing any of those.

Well, I can tell you about my experience with the Logitech G710 (NOT the plus version) after seven months of using it.

1) The mechanical keys are an absolute joy to use. It will take time for me to adjust to the lighter keys because I still press the keys all the way in although I know that they key will register as soon as the click is heard

2) My hands are certainly less fatigued compared to using membrane keyboards. Now I know why all typists prefer mechanical keyboards

3) As far as I know, the keys of most mechanical keyboards can be easily removed for cleaning. I have removed mine several times for cleaning without issues.

4) The G710 is a fully mechanical keyboard. That means ALL the keys are mechanical except the multimedia keys. Corsair K70 is NOT fully mechanical.

5) The G710 was the best option for me because it was the only reasonably mechanical keyboard available in my country at the time of purchase. I also didn't care about the "bling" features like RGB lighting.

6) The only real issue with mechanical keyboards, particularly when they have MX blue swithces, is that they are LOUDER than membrane keyboards. I'd RECOMMEND listening to them yourself on Youtube before taking the plunge.

"I can NEVER go back to membrane keyboards"
