I'm really hoping someone with experience will be able to help me. I'd be deeply grateful for guidance.
I'm looking to buy either the bluetooth K480 or the K400+ for my dad who uses a OP6T. I've been reading for days and cannot clear answers to the following questions:
1. At some places it says even the bluetooth K480 keyboard would have to connect via the bluetooth receiver through the OTG connector. Is this true? Or can it connect directly via bluetooth to the phone?
2. Is the same also true for the 2.4ghz wireless K400? Would it work with the OnePlus 6 if the receiver is connected via the OTG?
3. I also have a 3-4 year old Samsung smart tv. It can run Netflix and Amazon Prime apps so I'm assuming it isn't too outdated. Which of these keyboards is more likely to connect and work with it?
I know it needs to be HID compliant, but if it is, then which one would be a better option....or would both work. I don't think the TV has built in bluetooth, but shouldn't the receiver plugged into the TV's usb take care of that? I already have a older K260 could i check with that?
Basically I'm trying to figure out which might work with both. However the OnePlus takes precedence.
It would be so good to have these answered. The internet does not seem to be very clear on these points, despite 3 days of searching. I would be most grateful for any assistance.
