I reassigned the left and right scroll buttons on my M305 mouse using the SetPoint application to be the "Z" and "M" keys so I could use them in Skyrim (I'm trying to get used to Logitech mice before I buy my gaming PC and the G502), but it doesn't work in-game! It works on like a browser it types in Z or M but it doesn't work in Skyrim (I checked and the Power/Shout button is still Z and the map button is still M). Is it different using the Logitech gaming software with the G502 as opposed to a different software with my M305? I really would like to know, because I wan't the best experience out of my mouse.

I own a g502. and it uses a gaming software. i don't think setpoint can do that. i could be wrong but since the g502 is actually designed for gaming, its software is also intended for gaming. they have this pre-made gaming profiles that you can select for each games you play.
