I have the logitech 890 I think. I bought some z-wave light switches and it works great with them. There were some issues with z-wave compatibility with other products, for instance I wanted to get a wireless thermostat and a motorized shades for the room, and the logitech didn't support those advanced z-wave software modules, just lights.

My problem is that they are talking about wireless, they need to specify what wireless system it works with, just because something is "RF" doesn't mean it supports every wireless frequency and protocol. Does it support zigbee, z-wave, bluetooth? What if you have some Bose lifestyle system that uses some proprietary RF control, will it work with that?

As far as I can tell it only supports a wireless bridge to a wireless module, which then uses infrared IrDA to talk to conventional remote devices.
