I've really liked every logitech mouse i've owned, but if they want to really make an improvement they should just make the mouse cables better. I know a lot of them are suspect to kinks or failure at the attachment point to the mouse- it probably costs logitech, with their excellent support, a lot more money to be replacing all those mice under warranty from simple cable issues than it would to put a few cents into higher quality cables

[citation][nom]leandrodafontoura[/nom]They are really going banckrupt with those awful designs. I missed the logitech products from 2004[/citation]
I actually quite like them so each to their own... But Logitech is in no way of danger of going bankrupt any time soon.

[citation][nom]blackjackcf[/nom]When I'm gaming, I get approximately three hours on the G700. I usually play with it plugged in now.[/citation]

Are you using the gaming power profile? I usually get about a day(which is still not great) on the medium setting and I really can't notice the difference besides how quickly it goes to sleep once you stop using it.

I hope the new cord that comes with the 700s is not so rigid.

when it will be available in Asia i wonder? i was about to buy a G500 don't know if i should wait for the new one cuz the g500 is little cheaper but g500s looks cool.

[citation][nom]JeBuSBrian[/nom]Come on, Logitech, give me a new trackball that's as solid as my old Trackman that I've been using forever![/citation]

I got 3 of thier trackball mice and still going strong too.. they look kinda ghetto beat up but they still work great after 10 moves... LOL...

I got a G700 back in Jan. and I love it. :) I love LGS and all the buttons. I use it for both gaming and design. works great for both.

This is pretty much why I want a new one from them. Tons of new features could be included, as in their newer mice. But trackball seems to be an afterthought to Logitech these days. My Trackman still works, but it's beat to s**t after all these years. Their most recent update of the model has been reviewed as less sturdy than the old, so I've yet to update to it. Too much to ask, I suppose.

I still have a PS2 white Trackman at home!!! One of the BIG ones that I loved for my big hands.

I have about 7 of the older grey wired one, and three of the newer wireless ones, which I do use for gaming. Even though it only has two extra buttons, I use them both with keybinds.

What I'd like - a gaming Trackman Thumb mouse, and a Ergonomic Gaming keyboard with backlit keys.

Not sure I'd pick up the "new" G500s to upgrade from my g9x. I've always used a claw grip (I have the small grip installed on the g9x) and although I liked my old mx510/518, they seemed a bit heavy and more suited to a palm type grip.

Maybe if Logitech released a g10x or something with the same DPI as the G500s, I'd look into it! I definitely like smaller, lighter, less high/rounded mice like the G100s above kind of like the old school WMO 1.1!

Agree with another poster about the looks..they're trying to hard to make them look techie/futuristic/Tron-ny, but at least they don't look as cheezy as some of the Razers and Madcatz Cyborgs.

I think we all need to make a suggestion to Logitech!!!!
