Question Logitech Z333 2.1 speaker suddenly stopped working (green light shut off, no sound)

So I was just listening to some music on my computer and then the speakers just stopped working and the green light turned off on the volume changer. I don't think it's a connection problem because it worked before. Also when I plug in the cable the pc recognizes the device. What can I do in this situation? Thanks in advance.

Make sure there is enough power to run the speakers.

Removing and reconnecting the wires is a good idea.

If it doesn't work, then go to start and type troubleshoot and click on the link that comes on top and from there select "Hardware and Sound" and troubleshoot.

May be the controller is damaged.
