I have 1 Gb of RAM and and 2.8 GHz computer using WinXP SP2. When I have 2
users logged on, say one is running a virus scan online and the other gets
on and watches TV or does anything for that matter and tries to logoff - it
never completes the logoff task. I can switch users all day long but when I
try to log the 2nd user out it wont work - I have let it sit for half an
hour if not longer waiting - the HD light is going so I know that something
is happening but I cant CTRL-ALT-DEL or any combination of CTRL-C or
CTRL-Break or ESC or anything to get it to do something. Please help.

Hi Locke,

I notice that when the problem occurred, one use was running a Virus Scan
online. Am I right?

Does this issue occur when the 2 users just logon this computer?
