The motherboard is standard µATX form factor (i.e. 9.6 in × 9.6 in (244 mm × 244 mm)).

Judging just by your picture alone the graphics card would have to be less than 10 inches (25.4 cm or 254 mm) in length.

Not sure what the PSU is like on it either. If its about 300 watts you could do a 1060 mini no problem.

Btw, it has a 290W Dell right now. 14A and 16A on the two +12v rails.

Yeah, the the Minis I think at peak draw about 130. So as long as your CPU and other components dont pull too much you should be fine.

Ko888 is correct, youll have to go with a card that doesnt require a power cable so a 1050 or 1050ti at most.

Its possible but Ive always heard molex to 6 pin is not wise. You may have to look that one up.

That's the only obvious surprise that I can see. Once you upgrade to an ATX12V power supply, with that adapter, you should be fine with any other further upgrades you may want to do.
