Question Looking at making the jump from NVIDIA to AMD

Hi all, as the title states I have been a NVIDIA user since I built my first PC in 2014, about a year ago I made the switch from Intel to AMD for my CPU and I'm increasingly impressed with AMD in both terms of price and performance, I'm currently running an RTX 2080 Super.

My questions are.

1. For people that have made the switch what are your thoughts?

2. How is the AMD equivalent to DLSS and ray tracing?

3. What is considered the best brand to go for when buying an AMD GPU?

4. I'm currently using a g sync monitor, I'm aware that it doesn't have freesync as an option, will I realistically notice a difference not having this option if I make the switch to AMD?

Youe card is pretty sweet, if you sell it on ebay maybe you could make some money back, but new cards are coming this fall, surely that could be exciting.
