Hi there,

i'm looking for a 1440p 144 hz monitor for less than £350/£360 at a stretch

I was interested in a Gigabyte G27Q but apparently the 1MS is fake and there are ghosting issues. Can anyone confirm? Does anyone have other reccomendations?

Kind regards

I'd recommend the AOC AG271QG because it has all the sparkly stuff needed such as IPS, 1440p, G-Sync (def better than free sync) 165hz, but most importantly, its response times often matches that of a TN screen (theres a review on it on TH) im very very happy with mine.

Hi eszed,

Thank you for your suggestion.

Unfortunately that monitor is out of my budget range.

There are a few Asus monitors that are in my range:

ASUS TUF VG279WQ
ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ1B
Asus TUF GAMING VG27WQ

However I'm not sure about the difference between them, except one is curved.

Both VG279WQ and VG27WQ1B are curved so if that's what you like then go for either of them that fits your budget.

VG27AQ is the previous version of VG27AQL1A and it's very similar in terms of performance (some say that it's even better for pure gaming); right now it's around £450. I suppose you pay more for features like ELMB Sync and HDR400 (only for VG27AQL1A).
