im currently using a dell motherboard and a dell optiplex 3010 case, i want to buy a new case with a glass side panel, but since i have a dell motherboard it wont fit in there, hence why i need a motherboard. upon researching for a new motherboard, i have found that they can cost up to $500 aud, which is no where near my budget. if anyone could find me a $100 aud ($70 usd) motherboard, that would be amazing.
for any more info on my pc, feel free to ask. thanks in advance :)
specs:
cpu: intel core i5-3470
gpu: msi gtx 1650 super ventus
ram: x2 800mhz dual channel
ssd: 500gb samsung 870 evo
hdd: 1tb wd 7200rpm

Make and model of the case that you're looking at? Do you need an atx case or an matx case? The chipsets open to your processor are: H61(they will need a BIOS update so they can accept a 3rd Gen Intel processor, socket is still LGA1155), B75 and H77.

I reached this shortlist:
https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?...id=15&_sop=15&_osacat=0&_odkw=H75+motherboard

but I don't know the form factor you're requiring in accordance with the chassis(you intend to buy).

id prefer an matx as when i get the case, it will be smaller. and how would i update the bios with the 3rd gen intel cpu? will it still post. what info would you need for the chassis?

pretty much exactly whats in the title, will the Gigabyte H67A-UD3H work with the intel core i5 3470? gigabyte says it only supports 2nd gen processors, but could i do a manual bios update and resolve that problem? thanks in advance :)
