I have a 4 year old AMD A10-6800K APU with Radeon HD Graphics 4.10 GHz CPU. It's not running CS:GO solid anymore sometimes fps drops to 20. So if anyone has suggestions for a cpu upgrade please respond :) . Cause I have no clue how to compare them. My pricerange is 250 Euro max.

Specs:
Motherboard: A88M
CPU: AMD A10-6800K APU with Radeon HD Graphics 4.10 GHz
CPU Socket: FM2
Windows 7 64 Bit

The FM2 socket is dead. There is nothing you can put on your current motherboard that would be worth bothering with, so you are looking at a CPU+MoBo+RAM upgrade.

If you don't have a GPU, then you should be looking at the Ryzen 2400G which will be much faster in every possible way including the IGP. Your total cost will exceed 300EU though.

My suggestion is probably the same as most of us reading this. You've run this rig as far as it can take you. If you are able to upgrade the CPU you'll pay a lot for very little performance improvement if any. Start saving for a new RIG don't waste any more money on this build. The best case is you'll need a new Motherboard, CPU, RAM and a GPU. If you want to go APU there are some Ryzen APUs out like the Ryzen 3 2200G, and Ryzen 5 2400G. Just don't waste any more money on the current build. You can cannibalize your old rig and save as much as possible on your new build.

I gues i forgot to add my GPU.

I have a nvidia geforce gtx 750 ti 4gb.

I think I added that to my pc like 1,5 years ago plus a new power supply. Could I just ask a pc store to take it apart and put it together in a new motherboard and add a new CPU. Or just buy a whole new pc? Cause I don't really run high end pc games. I just felt like my CPU was getting a bit **** Cause I really don't want to buy a new GPU. Im running CS:GO on low res and video settings. I feel like it's not the GPU that makes it drops but the CPU.

So could I buy this motherboard:
MB AMD AM4 MSI B350M GAMING PRO and add 2 × 4 gb ddr 4 ram plus a new CPU?

Could anyone recommend some good ram for this mother board and a CPU below 200 euro?

If you are willing to pay 200 EUR for the CPU alone, then I'd say Ryzen 2600/2600X but I'd recommend waiting for the B450 motherboards to become available if you want to spare yourself the hassle of having to jump through hoops to get the motherboard BIOS updated to support 2000-series CPUs.

If gaming is by far your primary interest, then the i5-8400 with an H370 motherboard could be a better pick as it is far less dependent on RAM frequency and latency than Ryzen, which means you get a more affordable CPU which you can pair with more affordable DDR4 without as much of a performance penalty.

If you go with the 1600(X) or 1700(X) which are heavily dependent on memory clock for performance, you'll need fast (expensive) memory to beat the i5-8400's performance in games. The 1000-series Ryzen are extremely picky about RAM, especially prior to the AGESA 1.0.0.6 update, so you may want to make sure you pick RAM specifically certified for use with first-gen Ryzen in this case or at least make certain the motherboard you receive has a BIOS with AGESA 1.0.0.6 or newer preloaded.

Could you recommend any DDR 4 RAM? I think the i5-8400 with H370 sounds best. Could I just ask a PC store to do this for me or just buy a new pc with this in it?

You should be able to find DDR4-2666 CL15, maybe even a bit faster, for about the same price as the most generic DDR4-2400 fairly easily. Since the i5-8400 is locked and only supports up to DDR4-2666, don't waste money on aiming for DIMMs with higher frequency than that, especially if you aren't interested in tweaking/experimenting with manual timings. (If you would like to experiment, then you could look at 2933-16 which isn't much more expensive and see what timings you are able to achieve at 2666. In any case, incremental performance differences are going to be small. Personally, this sort of messing around simply isn't worth my time and possible productivity loss from occasional data corruption - I'd be running ECC RAM at the expense of ~5% performance if mainstream Intel CPUs supported that.) The i5 should work with just about any DDR4 DIMM from any major manufacturer, so the choice of DIMM beyond the speed grade is mostly cosmetics.

Since you have a GPU then Intel may be the better upgrade path, something like this would be a massive upgrade over your current system.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel - Core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-Core Processor (£143.99 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: ASRock - H310M-HDV Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (£49.98 @ Ebuyer)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws 4 series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory (£59.30 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £253.27
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

As for Intel & RAM speeds the difference is pretty minor and there's really no reason to spend more on faster RAM.

Would this motherboard work: ASRock - H370 Pro4 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/m3m323/asrock-h370-pro4-atx-lga1151-motherboard-h370-pro4)

With the CPU: Intel - Core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-Core Processor??
Or should I stick with the Motherboard: ASRock - H310M-HDV Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard?

H370 is preferable, H310 is really short on expand-ability and really meant for office systems. It has significantly less SATA and USB ports, and also less PCIe lanes.
