Just looking for a sub $100 1TB HDD that I can buy at Canada Computers.

High speed for gaming, if you aren't using it for games then look at the blue model, slower RPM and cheaper.

both awesome drives, I would have linked the barracuda, but mine broke pretty quickly which was a pain, fairly sure my issue was a one off though.

My 2TB one has been amazing so far, really fast and silent. It sustained write speeds of 190MB/sec on a Dxtory test!

like I said, fairly sure I had a one off issue, drive failed in a week, my mate has 2 running and they have been great too

For some reason the 2TB barracuda is 109$ where he wants to order it from. I'd suggest checking other sites for lower prices, maybe?

Oh, nevermind. I just went to the site and typed Seagate Barracuda, and saw just one 2TB model. The one you provided is different.

go with the wd black 1 tb with 5 years warranty if you game you will love it .
