Looking for a good monitor

I do pretty high end gaming but i also do a little editing mixed in with it. I'm a snowboarder and i film a lot and edit a lot and I'm looking for a monitor under 250 and that will do both of these jobs efficiently . Like i said I would rather have a high end gaming monitor because i do more gaming than editing I use PhotoShop and I use sony vegas
