Looking for a good motherboard compatible with i7-8700k

Hello guys,

I am looking for a good motherboard that is compatible with i7-8700k. The maximum I want to spend for it is 240 euros.

Asrock z370 extreme 4.
Two good boards that have enough features without blowing cash unnecessarily. (I.e. they do the job, put rest of money in other equipment that matters)

I have the Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7 and can only say good things about it. Overclocks my non delied 8700K to 5GHz, VRM's are more than cool, the NVMe M.2 drive has a great heat sink built in and the bios is fairly straightforward. If you are into RGB then it does go a little overboard, well maybe a lot! but overall it has been rocksolid with a great integrated sound setup. At the end of the day, you probably can stretch to any of the major boards at your price from the ASUS Hero, ASRock Taichi and the MSI mid to high end boards. All of them will do a fairly good job though a lot of people swear by ASrock and ASUS....Choices, choices....

The motherboard that you picked as an example has a Z170 compatibility that only works with 6th and 7th processor generations.
The 8th gen works on 300 series.
