I have many fps games. But wanted a change, something with swords, bows, arrows, armour etc. Looking for a good and enjoyable rpg game that has:

-Nothing really expensive, like £30-50? Recommend me them anyway as it COULD be in the sale soon
-Been released in the past 5 years
-Has really good customization as I LOVE that in games.
-Good graphics
-Fun and enjoyable
-Not too difficult, like Dishonoured (as I hear)
-Has GOOD reviews and popularity

There are some games (most common one to mention as suggestions) that I dont want to play and they are: Skyrim, Witcher, Dragon age, Dark souls. Not sure if there are other good rpg games apart from those? Latest Assasins creed is not up my alley as it doesn't appeal to me but if its on sale I might buy it. The old ones were fun.

I´d suggest Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition (Origins + Awakening included)

- £7.99 Click Here
-Published 2009
-Good customizable chacters and gears with options to marry and buy houses and more.
-Good graphics, pretty characters and environment.
-Really good humour, awesome storyline
-Easy to learn, and is combat is pausable to issue commands and plan strategy. Different skill levels.
- Metacritic ranks the game as 91/100 score. Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences named it Game of the Year 2009.

Are MMORPGs out of the question? They can be really fun, and usually offer all of the customisation that you can wish for. I don't see any reason not to play an MMORPG, if you like RPGs, because they are the same, except they have a (sometimes optional, sometimes not) multiplayer aspect.

Games like World of Warcraft do this the best. Even if you don't like any multiplayer interactions, you can play World of Warcraft and just play solo. That game has an amazing story that you can experience as well as hundreds of thousands of quests, and an astronomically large map to explore. And if you ever feel like trying some multiplayer, you can. In a single player RPG, you don't have to option to just try multiplayer.

That would be my suggestion to you. World of Warcraft.
:)

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes MMORPG's are out of the question unfortunately but thanks anyway.

The closest to what you want would probably be:
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (really good rpg with arkham style combat, you can get it for €15 from bundlestars.com)

Other than that I also recommend to try:
Path of exile (free, similar to diablo/torchlight etc.)
Terraria (not an rpg, simple 2d graphics, but cheap and fun)

I´d suggest Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition (Origins + Awakening included)

I would also take my vote to origins also take a look at divinity 2 the dragon knight saga i liked that one should be pretty cheap i too dragon age is more of an aaa game one that you will remember for years to come (like mass effect)

Divinity is lighter but fun

Quote from OP: "There are some games (most common one to mention as suggestions) that I dont want to play and they are: Skyrim, Witcher, Dragon age, Dark souls."

hmm shadow of mordor looks good..also LOVED lotr movies. However the game has lots of 50/50 reviews.

Dragon age looks really good. What one would I start with? And is it open world like Witcher? I could ask my brother who has dragon age inquisition but hes at school atm. Game is quite magical type, special powers, elves etc. Was hoping for something like bloodbourne/medieval themed type but I will check the prices for Dragon age.

Start with Origins then move on to Awakening. If you like it, you can continue to Dragon Age II which is really good too and you can continue with same character or start a new. Then there´s Dragon Age 3, which some people love and other people hate. Mainly because of the changed game controls and different combat system which were optimized for consoles rather than PC.

I promise you, there´ll be no regrets playing thing game other than the time it may steal from you. It´s hard to stop once you start

The game isn´t true openworld - but multiregion. The playing experience is quite similar though. The game has a good medieval feel to it, and I´d prefer it to Skyrim and other Elderscrolls games anyday. Just talking about it, makes me want to replay it again.

Not what you asked for, but if you like South Park, then try out South Park: Stick of Truth. Another game a little different than you asked, but with good reviews is Pillars of Eternity. Did you alread tried out Borderlands 2 and Deus Ex? Both FPS playing like game with rpg like elements. Also Fallout 4 would be in this categor, but its new and expensive. These games aren't about dragons and swords.

I would recommend Witcher 3, which you can get for around 10 €/$ or so.
