Hi, i am looking for a CPU for my first computer build. My budget is $700-800 CAD but can go a little over that. The games i mainly play are CS:GO and Rocket League and i would like to run these games on the highest setting with 60+ FPS. I am wondering what the best CPU i can get for the price, that can meet those requirements. If possible, I would like a Intel I5 that can be overclocked. Also, I was looking at the EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Superclocked Video Card. Is this graphics card good enough to run those games on max settings with 60 FPS? I greatly appreciate any responses.
Thank you.

Sure you can put a i5-4690k and a Z97 board in there but you'll have to sacrifice for inferior parts; we want a balanced system.
You should be able to run CS:GO and Rocket League at max with 60+ FPS.

Solution
The above system would run comfortably on a 250w PSU, so if you find a high quality unit with fewer watts, go for it. I got my platinum-rated Fortron unit for $25, for instance.

You might prefer an i3 6100 and a slightly faster video card, such as the Radeon RX480 (if you can get one within your budget). The Intel 6xxx CPUs are of a newer generation and will have parts available for several years to come, whereas the 4xxx CPUs are at end-of-life. The i3 will be a little slower, but the faster video card will more than make up for it.
