Question PC Shows No Display After Rebuild

Hi all. Looking for some guidance on what could've gone wrong with my system after building it into a new case.

After purchasing a working PC I decided to rebuild it into a new case as I wasn't a fan of the previous case. I finished the rebuild without any issues, have done this quite a few times before so wasn't too worried. Powered the system on and everything worked as I expected, except I got no display to my monitor.

Peripherals light up, fans spin and RGB is on, however monitor never turns on and when turned on manually doesn't show an output. Here's what I've tried and what I know:

1. The monitor and HDMI cable are fine. I have tested them separately.
2. Tried reseating the GPU (which I then tested in another system, works fine). Also tried a different GPU with no luck.
3. Tried removing the GPU to use onboard graphics, still nothing.
4. Tried reseating the RAM, using one RAM stick in different slots, tried different RAM that is working and compatible with my board, nothing.
4. Got frustrated, so pulled the entire motherboard out of the case and set it up on a test bench with a different PSU, no storage or anything aside from CPU and RAM installed. Still, no display.
5. Cleared CMOS, nothing. Replaced CMOS battery, nothing. Cleared CMOS again, nothing.
6. Took the CPU cooler off and noticed a bit of thermal paste on the side of the CPU, cleaned that off. Reseated the CPU, no bent pins on the board, no thermal paste on the pins, nothing visibly wrong.
7. It's also worth noting that the board has EZ Debug lights. After pressing the power button it cycles through them as you'd expect, first CPU, then DRAM, then VGA, then (when no ssd is installed) BOOT light stays on, with an SSD the BOOT light never comes on.

I'm at a complete loss, I don't understand how this working system has become junk, I don't know what I've done wrong and any help would be greatly appreciated.
