How good is apple retina display? Is it better than htc m8 or S5 compared to iPhone 5s or 6?

I'd prefer the S5, with it's AMOLED over apple's IPS. What model are you talking about?

AMOLED is recommended cause Low power consumption, better contrast and colour reproduction. On contrast basis AMOLED is better than retina display
