I recently installed an rx 460 (i know, another thread involving this) and my pc wont boot up, the lights light up and the fans spin but my mouse and keyboard dont light up nor do i get anything on either integrated or pci-e, at first i thought it was the psu so i upgraded from my 460w to a Tr2 700w, and still nothing, so i uninstalled the gpu and went into my bios (bear in mind i never fiddle with bios) and changed legacy boot options to boot from the dvd drive reset and still nothing, i also tried to install the rx 460 drivers while using only the integrated card (rx uninstalled) but amd wont install anything, i click setup on the disc and i get a flicker of a black box then nothing, so im thinking it could only be the mobo and bios. If anyone has a link to the latest update i eould greatly appreciate it, as well as a tutorial if possible.

MOBO
pegatron 2ac2 v.1.02 chipset sandy bridge
BIOS: AMI 7.03
CPU INTEL i3 2100
PSU: Tr2 700w
MEMORY: 1x4GB +1x8gb (not sure if this matters)

If anyone has anything that will help please let me know

It is an hp, is there anyway to work with this? Or to check compatibility? Or perhaps could you recommend a video card that would be compatible at the same price range, if 4gb is possible that would be great. Also the card i had before the rx 460 was a radeon hd 5850 whos drivers are still currently installed

Personally i'd upgrade everything apart from the RX460 and PSU you could grap some cheap 4th, 6th Gens and MOBO's if you look in the right place, but by the looks of it you're on a budget build so i'd recommend an i3 7100 insane 3.9GHz clock speed for an i3 and a B250/H270 $320AUD Max + $60AUD for 8GB Ram

Thanks, frys electronics didnt have anything on that list, i asked a worker there and he said the msi a68hm-grenade would be compatible with it, and gave me an amd 7670k black edition cpu 3.6/3.9 Ghz. Hopefully this should do, at this point i've pretty much built a pc 😀

Also i do plan on getting another 8gb of ram

Good Luck :)
