Looking for a motherboard that is compatible with a Geforce GTX 980

Me and my friend are building a Computer and want to buy the Geforce GTX 980 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487067 ) If someone could guide us to a good motherboard (Price range 100-150)

Also we were curious about our CPU, The CPU were looking at is AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz AM3+ or unless there is something more compatible in that price range.

Just the best possible compatiblity between the 3

All modern motherboards can handle GTX 980 as long as they have PCI-E x16 gen 2.0/3.0 slot . Core i5 Haswell are better for gaming than FX 8350 . i5 4590 at least for great gamng . Also GTX 980 is only 14% faster than GTX 970.

What Makes the Cpu i5 4590 so much better then the Vishera 8 core? I comparedmthe to on newegg and the 8 core out does the intel

FX 8350 has 8 cores but weak . The majority of games utilize up to 4 cores . Also the job can be done by lesser in number cores as long as they are strong . The owners of FX 8350 desperately overclock it to catch up with the Intel single core performance but it gets them in trouble - far more power consumption ,heat , CPU damage threat .

the 3D performance is more and more dependent on the number of shaders the video card has. And here we speak of neither 4 ,6 or 8 cores but 1000+ shaders working together to render the graphics . The CPU just feed the video card with data .

i5 4590 is 30% faster than FX 8350 in gaming , on average.
