Looking for a new Case

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a case with a LOT of features that isn't too expensive (under £120 in the UK). basically I run a lot of LAN events at my university, so I need a case that will fit all of my current components, but is easy to move around. I also want it to have 140mm fan mounts instead of 120mm and radiator support. But most importantly, it needs to have handles. Yes. I could cradle the case to and from university (which really isn't that far, 10-15 minute walk max), but my back is bad as it is and trying to cradle a case isn't going to help it. So handles are a necessity. A windowed side panel is also something that this case must have.

I have been looking at the Corsair Vengeance C70 and I like the look of it, but there are a few things I would prefer, namely 140mm intake fans and a side panel without fan grills in. I know you can get third party windows in the US, but I've asked them about shipping to the UK and have had no reply after 2 weeks.

If anybody can help that would be greatly appreciated

Chris

PC Specs (just in case (no pun intended)):
Intel core i5-3470
CM Hyper 212 EVO
8gb DDR3-1600 memory
ASUS P8 Z77-V LK motherboard (Full ATX)
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW+

EDIT: Old case: Zalman Z11

I would of recommended the NZXT H440 but then you said you need to be able to move it easy.
The corsair c70 has handles so I think it's fairly handy. It looks rather awesome too! Or theres the corsair 540. It's small and square. Wouldn't think it'd be that heavy and it looks awesome!
I've been contemplating going to that case for some time now!

I do think however the c70 would be your best bet, Unless you found a case you liked the look of and added modded handles ontop yourself which I have saw people do before when I've been to gaming lan conventions and such :)

If you are looking for something portable, I think you will have trouble finding cases for a full ATX motherboard. You should consider switching to a mATX or even a mini-ITX motherboard. With the mini-ITX, you will have a lot of options.

There are portable ATX cases (C70 being one of them). But portable in the sense that it needs to be small/light isn't what I mean, what I mean is I need a case with handles.

I'd love to get the Air 540 and add handles to it, but I don't think I'd trust myself to 😛 Getting the right handles is one thing, then making sure the metal at the top of the case can support the weight of the case thru 2 handles is another

Fair enough, though a bit like basing your choice of house on whether your fridge will fit or not.

I definitely couldn't find anything to meet all your requirements of ATX, price, window, handles and 140 mm fan points. Most ATX cases seem to go for 2 x 120 mm at the front instead of having 140 mm points, but I guess you never know. Good luck with it.

I've saw modding shops online sell handle kits :)
