Approximate Purchase Date: not too important. By next month abouts.

Budget Range: $1100 in Amazon money

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Digital Art workhorse (Photoshop etc etc) > Gaming > everything else.

Are you buying a monitor: not yet.

Parts to Upgrade: Old system is pretty old. I'll assume its pretty much all junk.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website for Parts: Everything MUST be bought through Amazon

Location: Philadelphia, PA United States

Parts Preferences: none though if i could get this in a smaller format without loosing much performance that would be awesome.

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: I don't really know enough to know if yes or no. Sorry

Your Monitor Resolution: I run my main monitor of 2 at around 1280x768 generally but the monitor maxes out at 1920x1080. I also have a Sharp Flatscreen TV serving as a side monitor.

Additional Comments: I'm in the strange position of having allot of spare cash but in the form of Amazon money and need a new computer. I'm pretty much a total newb and am not trying to do anything too crazy. I like nice graphics on games for sure but I don't need anything too crazy. Diablo 3 on High (to possibly Ultra?). Most importantly I need to computer to run Photoshop and the other general Art programs without a hitch and as fast as possible. Things I'm interested in are SSD , lots of USB ports (on the front would be even better) , wireless broadcasting to other devices in the house like the TV. I'm not going to upgrade or mess around in this thing much if at all but i definitely want to get as long a lifespan as possible from this build as i probably wont be seeing the money to build another computer for a long time (as in, I'm poor guys)

Why Are You Upgrading: Last computer is like 6 years old (i think it was about $700 at the time)...its had a good long life. Old computer is as follows just to give some perspective on my newbness/the last time I did this sorta thing :
- ASRock ALIVENF6G-VSTA AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 or 6150SE / nForce 430 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
- SAPPHIRE 100196L Radeon X1950PRO 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
-Thermaltake TR2 W0070 430W ATX12V v2.3 Power Supply
- AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ Windsor 2.8GHz Socket AM2 89W Dual-Core Processor ADA5600CZBOX
- KINGWIN KA-9227 90mm Ball CPU Cooler
- G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ
- plus some hard drives and other junk that hardly matters.

Other Notes : So me and a friend built my last computer but really he did most (ok all) of the really work and that was a long time ago. I know it's always cheaper to build your own but like i said I'm in the unique position that this $1100 isn't really money to me (as in i can't find much else to spend it on in Amazon) so If anyone thinks my needs are filled by some pre-built rig I don't have a problem with that either. I just don't know what i should be looking for anymore really. Honestly I'm pretty close to just getting a Surface Pro2 for the ease of purchase but I'm still thinking i can get more for the "money"

Thanks in advance everyone.
