A. Considering the fact that very few CDs or DVDs are being used these days, it is not a necessity. However, I would like a USB Type C along with at least 2 USB Type As along with a headphone jack and HDMI. Of course, optical drives would be a good bonus.

A. Any form of RGB is not necessary. I don't care about RGB.
If USB 3.1 Gen2 can be present, then it will be good, otherwise it isn't necessary.
I have observed that laptops with 1060 perform better than 1650, and they are about the same price here, 1650 being a bit more expensive.
AMD route is available as well.
I've been thinking of laptops with 8th gen i5 and a 1060 6 GB. They are available for about 1150 USD and have >40 FPS in most games at high or very high settings.
