Hello,

I'm planning to buy a new monitor for myself, there are 3 major options atm:

Acer Predator XB241

AOC G2460PG

ASUS PG248Q ROG SWIFT

What do you think, which of these is the best ? Also,if there are other options beside these three (like BenQ or Dell),you can also help me out with that. (the pricetag is around/same as the others)

AoC doesn't belong in the same discussion as Asus and Acer.

But at 1080p, I really don't see the value in 144Hz G-Sync capable monitors. If I am going to say invest $570 in the Asus w/ TN Panel, than I can easily justify , then I can easily justify spending a bit more for the IPS panels available at 1440p (Acer XB271 HU and Asus PG279Q which, until recently, were available for $700. The Xmas rush had supply greatly exceeding demand and the prices were driven up to $750 - $799 ... but one supply ctaches up a bit, expect prices to return to normal levels.

At 1080p, we still recommend the VG248QE. It doesn't have G-Sync but G-Sync comes with ULMB, which you'd likely use over G0Sync most of the time at 1080p, and you can get the same effect as ULMB with the free toasty strobelight utility. At's $300 cheaper at $250.

If you're at 1080p and have a decent rig, G-Sync will be a total waste of money. I'd go with the VG248QE like Jack said or get the comparable BenQ/Zowie monitor. I have the AOC G2460PF and it's pretty decent if you want to save some money, but the colors are a little washed out and the black contrast isn't nearly as good as the BenQ.

The vg248qe is nice man i love it. Tearing just does not happen. I get like 500+ fps in a few games, CSS for example no tearing... the color is actually really nice for a TN panel, my brother has the ben Q with the same panel and i cant tell the difference...
I don't think you need g sync unless your getting like 30fps.
