Currently I have a 1tb 7200rpm HDD and its just so damn slow at doing pretty much everything. So I started to look for a new SSD, Ive found 2 that caught my attention, a Samsung 970 EVO m.2 NVMe SSD or this WD blue SSD both at around 250gbs of space (all I need).

Im just wondering if the 970 EVO is worth the extra amount if im ONLY gaming on my Computer. Also I dont know if my computer is even good enough to match the 970 EVO as its so new (and very fast). My MOBO has an "ultra" m.2 slot whatever that means.

PC specs (if this matters)
MOBO- Asrock ab350 atx
CPU-ryzen 3 1300x
RAM- 2x4 2666mhz G.skill
GPU- gtx 1060 3gb
PSU- Seasonic 550 watt

Current HDD-https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822235014

Solution
What do you use this system for?
Unless you are doing a LOT of large sequential file moving around, a SATA III drive (either 2.5" or m.2) is fine.

WD Blue
Crucial MX500
Samsung 850 or 860 EVO.
