Looking for a notebook-style backlighted keyboard

Hello!

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this, so I apologise in advance if it's not. This is my first post here.

I'm a gamer and built a pretty nice gaming PC. I think that, next to performance, looks matter too, so I purchased a gorgeous Phanteks chassis with LED lighting that syncs with the motherboard's lighting (it's an ASUS Strix motherboard, so I use ASUS Aura Sync to control the lighting). I also have a gaming keyboard/mouse set, but I've come to realise that gaming keyboards and long nails don't exactly go hand in hand, so I'm looking for something else.

I've noticed that notebook keyboards are way friendlier with my long nails, so I'm looking for something similar (slim, silent, fine). It would be really awesome if I could find a keyboard with backlighting that I can sync with Aura, to go with my rig. I wish I could use the keyboards from ROG laptops for my PC :s I've poked around on some parts websites but didn't manage to find what I'm looking for, so I figured I could come here for advice.

Asus released an SDK file that you can setup yourself to sync RGB with non asus products, so you can use any corsair, logitech, etc keyboard of your choice

I was looking for these about 1 week ago too and found that either the cougar vantar or logitech k740 are really good for their price. You can also just get any mechanical keyboard and get some universal keycaps for the switches they have that are low profile. (I like the scissor style switches like on laptops more so thats why I didn't do the diy mech idea).
