Question Looking for a processor which can run games and editing tools nicely

Actually I am confuse between i5-8400 and i5-8600k.
I want to do gaming as well as video and photo editing.
Then, Which processor shoul I prefer?
If I prefer i5-8400 can I get a good photo editing?

A Ryzen 5 2600 is better for editing and still games very solidly
