I'm looking for a reliable, well made, all-in-one computer tool kit, that will work with various types of hardware pertaining to computers, consoles, or similar electronics. Some examples of what I might need in the kit are tools that may be used with:

- Mac & Windows Products
- Laptops, Desktops, Phones & Smartphones
- All consoles, including Nintendo & Dreamcast Systems
- Other separate components such as Hard Drives, Disc Drives, etc.

I am currently working on a Macbook Pro Retina, which appears to require some very specific tools to take off certain adhesives, pins, and similar items, so advice in that area would be wonderful as well.

Unfortunately I have only been able to find parts here and there (such as a single screwdriver for the Macbook Pro Retina laptops), which tend to be pricey sold alone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You can try mixing and matching your tools to cater to a wide variety of work and platforms. I personally have a ratchet set with some screw bits that take care of pretty much every screw including hex socketed screws. You can look at this kit though you'll need a tool kit for prying open display's from their bezel's if you're interested in repairing laptop screens or some such as you've stated a retina display. I personally stay away from them so it's not in my arsenal.

You will need a proper static free/grounded workmat and you can pick one up from Modright courtesy of their Modmat series

The above listed tools should also get you by with building systems if they require a screw driver but aside from the motherboard pretty much these days are tool free(though not aftermarket cooler's assembly).
