I have an old Xerox plotter which uses a computer called a Xerox Accxes controller.
Today, when I attempted to power it on, I heard a pop and I could smell a burnt electrical scent.

My guess is that the power supply has failed as now no lights will light on the motherboard.

The power supply is labeled with a part number that I couldn't find on Google.
The power supply appears to be a ATX power supply with a standard 24 pin connector of which only 20 pins are used,
The power supply also provides a molex connector for powering the hard drive.

Power supply details:
Switching Power Supply
P/N: P6250A FTP
Input: 100-240VAC 6/4A 50/60Hz PFC
Output: +3.3V +5V +12V -12V -5V +5Vsb
250W 16A 19A 16A 0.3A 0.5A 2A
Max (+3.3V/+5V: Total 115W Max.)
(+3.3V/+5V/+12V: Total: 235W Max.)

I have attached photos with measurements for reference.

I would appreciate any help with identifying a replacement that will fit in the original location.

Looks like TFX PSU. Could be also Flex ATX but appears to be too big to be Flex ATX.

Here are ATX PSUs and their dimensions,

Since you measured the end bracket, and not the PSU itself, except height, hard to say which of the two it is. But 63.7mm height is very close to TFX height of 65mm.

My guess is that the power supply has failed as now no lights will light on the motherboard.

When PSU goes "pop", it has the magical ability to fry everything it is connected to. So, i won't be hopeful that only PSU died. MoBo could be toast as well, since MoBo is usually 1st to go, when PSU acts up.

I was able to hookup a temporary full size atx power supply today and everything booted up correctly. I was able to print large format documents as usual.

I appreciate your advice on the size of the power supply. I will need to investigate what Flex ATX or TFX power supply will fit. That way I can replace my Frankenstein setup I have right now.
