ive went through two gigabyte motherboards and starting to doubt their quality, can someone recommend a replacement brand that would have the same same fan and rgb hook ups dont want to have to replace my fans if possible.

There is nothing wrong with the quality of Gigabyte motherboards. Or for the most part, any of the other three major board brands either. Any board can have problems or be faulty, but it tends to happen more often to lower quality models.

What exactly has "gone wrong" with the two boards that lead you to believe you have "went through" them?

they both started shutting off on their own after about two months of use then went completely dead i checked temps with both boards and never went over 69 c and the gpu was running even cooler i have built five pcs before and never had this issue and the motherboards in question are quite high end or suppose to be anyways. Power supply other components still worked after it went dead i tested them in other machines

Well, if two boards "went completely dead" I'd be highly suspicious that something else is killing them. While getting two boards that die in exactly the same way is technically possible, it's pretty damn unlikely to happen that way.

If you want to move on from Gigabyte, for whatever reason, I'd take a look at some of ASRock's offerings. They have a proven track record of good build quality and fairly good customer service, while ASUS customer service has tended towards the not so great over the last couple of years and MSI is just a morally corrupt company all the way around. Of course, they both make some good boards as well, but for me it's what a company does WHEN something goes wrong, that matters most. They all build to high quality standards, it's just that some back it up much better than others and some are simply problematic like the recent ASUS snafu with some boards having a capacitor installed backwards on an entire production run of Hero boards. Stuff happens, but usually not the same exact thing.

Are you certain they actually replaced the original board, or did you buy an entirely different one?

i bought a completely different board and if i did change brand i would ideal like the same fan and rgb connections on the board the reduce what i would need to swap out and do you know of anything that could be killing the board?

i know how to trouble shoot one but none of this showed anything on the second one on the first one the ram slots were dead, how would this lead to me finding out what cause it to die in the first place
