Hi there!!! I want to upgrade my current cpu (i5-4460). I've noticed that here in spain ryzen is way cheaper than intel, so i decided to change sides. From what i've seen, the ryzen 5 2600 is the best cpu for less than 200€ (180€). I spent quite a few hours compairing prices and this is what i came up with: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NQWmJ8

What do you guys think about it? Will i be able to overclock both the cpu and ram? I've heard that the faster the ram the better the fps. My current budget is 400€, but i can strech it a little bit if needed

The build is absolutely fine...the only thing I would ask is why a Micro ATX motherboard with a ATX case? Personally, I would go with the MSI B450 Tomahawk motherboard which is just a bit more but much better overall with a good VRM setup and cooling...And a set of DDR4 3000 Ram and I have included the Team Vulcan 2 8GB DDR4 3000 RAM which is only $99...As to the case, I could not find a price but better airflow in something like a Fractal Design Meshifi C TG is only $69.99....Just some thoughts...

I randomly picked a case and i thougt that one looked cool. It has micro atx compatibilty tho. I dont really think the b450 tomahawk is worth buying in spain, as it cost 130€ and, from what i've seen, its not a whole lot better than the bazooka. Theres a 50€ difference between them and, to me, they have almost the same specs (i might be toally wrong). That ram is gorgeous, but its way more expensive in spain. Another downside to the components you sent me is that i live in the canary islands, making shipping more expensive. Its a shame i cant get those components for cheaper, so i think im going to stick with what i have now. Thank you so much for your help and for taking the time to search all those things.

I went through the same comparisons and ended up just saving a little more $, and picking up the Ryzen 7 2700x. If that is a little much check out the non X 2700. It is a beast of a cpu, and for the money spent, it’s anazing. I’m in the process of trying to find a motherboard for it now. Coming from a Ryzen 5 1400, it was huge difference
