Looking for a set up to replace my old gaming headset

my gaming headset has finally quit and im tired of having to drop 100$ here and there replacing them and having to fuss with the crappy audio quality from the mic
im looking for a good mic and a good headset and hopefully do away with the crappy gaming headsets
any one know of a good mic and boom arm (things thats what they are called (things thats holds the mic and what not))
and know a pretty good headset for sound
my budget for it all is around 150ish

The problem with your budget would be you're going to get either a mic and boom arm setup or a really good headset, provided we're talking about hooking you up with a setup that is meant for broadcasting.
