M5A78L-M/USB3 would like to know if i can install a 4TB hdd on it.

Remember the vendor saying i cannot instal more than 2TB but just checking if he was wrong or something.

As a secondary drive, yes you can.
As the OS drive, the board would need UEFI. Which is does not and is limited to a 2TB drive.
