I need a PC for video editing, would like it to be under $500. I know it isn't the highest budget, but I should be fine with it. I want the case to be a mini case, not a mid or full. I don't have much room on my desk so I want it to be compact.

Solution
You're asking for a lot for only $500.
Video editing will require a stronger CPU, and at least 6GB of RAM.

I recommend saving up more, but if you can't I would get a stronger CPU and a weaker GPU.

I know, but what do you think would be the absolute best I could get for the money? It's not going to be heavy video editing, but more of home videos and such.
