What is the best 1070 ti video card to fit with these? With moderate price



CPU: Intel - Core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-Core Processor

MB: MSI - Z370-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Most GPUs from the dependable brands are fairly similar. Once you're going with a known brand, the differences are mainly the price, the form factor, the cooling solution, and the factory overclock.

This is the least expensive one on pcpartpicker at the moment.

Would have to look at the clocks, but it's highly unlikely there's more than a few fps difference at any point.

There are no modest priced 1070's they are all $100+ over MSRP "$379" You can find used 980 Ti which is nearly as fast for $290-$340. Generally the difference between EVGA,MSI,Gigabyte and Asus are very little but EVGA tends to offer the best super clocked versions.

Oddly enough you can find 1070 and 1070 TI for about the same price.

ASUS ROG Strix, EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti SC, MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Titanium are all better than the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 Ti GAMING. They have better cooling, high overclock potential and have quieter fans. I personally like the EVGA line since they are not as huge as the Asus Strix and fit in more cases easily.

Because they can and they can blame mining on the cost increase. It comes down to pure greed and markup for a high demand.
