[SOLVED] Looking for a way to automatically rename new folders.

I have a folder on my computer in Windows 10 that I'd like to monitor for any new folders that appear in it and automatically rename those folders if they have certain characters in it.

So the folder I want to monitor is

C:\Monitor\

if a folder appears in it called whateverthefoldergetsnamed[test]

I'd like to be automatically renamed to whateverthefoldergetsnamed[tested]

I thought I found a free program to do it but I have no clue how to use it Febooti Automation Workshop. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm always sus of rare third party software. Quite often you end up with a virus. Sometimes it makes things worse again.

You could try learning enough about using Commnd. language eg https://www.windows-commandline.com/rename-directory-from-command-line/
I used to be pretty good at it but I haven't had to use it much lately. You can use an if statement to help you. See https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_74/rbam6/ifcmd.htm
