Looking for a WiFi Powerline.

I need a good reliable WiFi Powerline. Something that you could recommend and that will work perfectly. Not something very expensive. Any thing that will improve WiFi strength for games.

There are not a lot of these devices. many people use the one from netgear.

Still you should not play games on wireless. If you are using powerline device you should be able to locate it in the same room which means you can use a ethernet cable. Unless of course the device does not have ethernet but that is almost always something like a tablet or phone which does not play very advanced games anyway.

Powerline by itself works ok for many games but wifi of any kind is going to give you random issues because of random interference.

Most the powerline units do not do wireless real well. They either have reduced the output power to keep the costs down or they use extremely small antenna to keep the device size down.

If you really need wireless I would use any of the better powerline units av2 based ones if you can afford it, and use a inexpensive router as a AP to provide the wireless.

Still if there is any option I would always use a ethernet cable to the powerline units for any form of online game.
