Hi, this is the pc I am looking to upgrade:

HP Pavilion p6-2207ep

Operating speed: 3.1 GHz (up to 3.5 GHz turbo)
Number of cores: 4

Memory
6 GB
Amount: 6 GB
Speed: PC3-12800 MB/sec
Type: DDR3-1600

Video graphics
Radeon HD 7450

For more details on specification u can check:

I game alot on it and there a ton of games that I cant run nowadays, namely the witcher 3, so I was looking for a gpu replacement for the following 3 years, unless its better/cheaper to buy several over that 3 year span...
Priority is price, I want to spend the least possible, would like to stay below 200 euros but if it passes a bit no problem, and steady 30+ fps, I dont mind gaming on minimum settings. The maximum resolution I use is pretty low 1440*900, small monitor 😛.
I read that radeon is about to launch a new gpu so my plan so far is to wait for that so i can get cheaper GPUs.
If u have any other advice regarding my pc pls dont hold back, maybe upgrade/replace the DDR3 memory ?

Thx alot for those who took their time to help me take the best decision 😉

I would say go for GeForce GTX 960 around 165 euro or r9 280 for around 185 euro. but since your pc have only 300watt psu. you will need a good psu around 500 watt too which will cost you around 50$ more.

Solution

Thx for the feedback, I am planning to wait like a month expecting for the new radeon cards reveal (should be happening this June??) make retailers cut their prices, u know anything about that ?

Thx for ur feedback :)!!!

I researched them and the GTX 900 series even has a promotion that gives keys for witcher 3 and the upcoming arkham knight, and also has inferior power comsuption.

Overall since I want the cheapest that will let me play anything for the next 3.5 years max I guess I will go with the GTX960, ill just wait for the AMD new gpus launch now to pull the trigger, have pillars of eternity to keep me busy till then :)

If ur interested, the information about new GPUs launch http://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2015/05/06/confirmed-amd-to-launch-new-hbm-equipped-desktop-graphics-cards-by-end-of-june-2015/

I will pick the gtx 960, unless that launch changes anything dramatically :)

thx again for ur feedback :)
