i currently have a gtx 1070 ti ftw and i am looking to upgrade from a 1080 into 4k or 2k??.
i am wondering if i should get a second hand ASUS MG28UQ 28” 4K Gaming Monitor for $300 cad. Downside being that the MG28UQ is a amd free-sync and not g-sync should i still go with buying the display or look else where?
your help would be greatly appreciated, my current computer parts are listed in the link below.

$300 for a normally $500 monitor is a pretty good price. As far as it not being Gsync I don't think that it should be something that turns you away from it, vsync works well capping it at 60hz if you don't mind adjusting the settings a bit which you will have to do with that 1070 ti. Either that or use Nvidia Geforce Experience to set the graphic settings, works well for 60hz but anything higher it doesn't seem to do so well IMHO.

should i wait and not buy the monitor and look for another 1440p 2k to buy ?
because im unsure if Intel - Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor, 8gb ram and gtx 1070 ti can handle 4k gaming or can it at say 30 or 40fps ?
