Looking for advice on my regular 2 year upgrade

Trying to decide what to get this time, I don't really have a set budget atm. I do a lot of security work so I use up to 20 Virtual machines at a time, I originally bought this system just to game on but they processor and memory amount is holding my work back. I would also like a good video card by nvidia.

My current system is

MSI GD65 z87 gaming motherboard

i5 4670k @ 4.7ghz

16gig of corsair vengeance pro

Evga G2 750w

nzxt h440

2 3tb WD drives, can't remember the model but I think it is a enterprise grade drive

256gig ssd

gtx 770 2gb version

So those are my current specs.I don't have any set budget, but I really would like something more work grade with a good video card. I was looking at x99 but not to sure.
