Looking for an upgrade including CPU and RAM

I'm looking to upgrade my MOBO CPU and RAM, would anyone have any recommendations? I haven't upgraded in about 2 years and I'm unfamiliar with current components.

Current specs are:
Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz
8gb DDR3
P8H61-M LE

GTX 560TI

Depends on what the computer is to be used for, and what your budget is.

However, as a rough draft, suggested components for a general purpose middle of the line computer is here.

Includes new 650W PSU to handle extra load.

Assuming existing memory is 2 x 4 GB DIMM's? If not, then get 2 x 4 GB DIMM's as well to maximize memory bandwidth.
