Looking for an Upgrade.

With the holiday seasons coming soon I think it might be apt to upgrade my Graphics card before all the new games come out. Though I'm not sure which would be the best upgrade for price value. I'm currently saddled with a gtx 970, now I'm stuck between the 1070 and 1060, Leaning towards the 1060 but not sure if it will actually improve performance much. Any suggestions/advice?

It would be helpful to know all of your parts. I would not consider a 1060 if you already have a 970.

Wouldn't upgrade to a 1060 from a 970. Personally, I wouldn't upgrade at all this year with a 970 but if you're really set on upgrading then try to find a christmas deal for a 1070 to see a performance gain.
