Im looking at buying a new router and I am tired of buying crappy ones. I need a router that has a powerful wifi connection, good for 7 wireless devices, and reliable. Ive been looking at a couple routers in the 200$ range. What would you guys recommend?

Ive been looking at,

This one looked nice,

And this is the last one i was looking at,

Also is it possible to buy a different modem on a rogers network? The router/modem box is garbage and I'd like to buy one that's more reliable, am I able to buy a different one? What would you recommend if I can?

Thank you very much in advance.

I have an Asus Rt-Ac66u router. It is fast and has a lot of functions that are useful. I like the ability of hooking up an USB hard drive to it and use it as a FTP server and have access to all your files remotely. The WIFI range is excellent. I got a good 1000 feet away with just one wall between me and the router. Unfortunately it cost around $180 if you are looking to be on a budget.

Under $100 there is the TP-Link 4300. My brother in law as it and is very please with it. It cost him about $80.

A powerful wifi router , usually has 2 or 3 external antennas that you can see , other than that linksys is a good router, they have some big ones that are big enough for you to not see the antennas
