My budget is about $500. I'm not sure which processor should i get for gaming, intel or AMD.
I want to play the latest games, such as Far Cry 4, Stars War: Battlefront, The Witcher 3, Star Crafts, Modern Warfare, etc.
I'm a big fan of AMD but not sure whether being a fan is worth the price.
And yes, i'm thinking getting a discrete graphic card as well.
So within $500, what kind of spec can i get?
Thanks!

I'm living at Malaysia actually. Hahah. I converted myr to dollar using current currency. I decided on AMD Fx8320 with MSI 970. For graphic card, i will stick with my old one, Asus GTS 450. But i'm not sure is it compatible or not.

Comparing 6300 and 8320, which has better gaming performance?

kwa-e

Admirable
The 8320 has better performance but if you go with the 6300 you'll be able to get a better GPU and that's what mainly sets the bar on game performance, But since you are playing SC2 the i3 will be better.

Will this be in your budget?
