Hello all,

My sons birthday is next month. He will be 15 years old. He plays Team Fortress, Overwatch, Heros and Generals, Warframe, and Smite mostly. He currently has Logitech k360 keyboard and m325 mouse. There are no games out right now he wants. So, I thought I would surprise him with something a little better than what he has. I would like to know what is the best clone switch keyboard and mouse for those type of games in my price range. I have been looking on Amazon and Newegg at gaming keyboards and mice. I was expecting just a few choice. The clone switches really took off faster than I imagined. Thanks

You won't get anything better in your price range, the cheap keyboards are clicky and pretty loud, they all use a blue switch type.

I suggest a single better item than two cheap ones, brown switch keyboard is good, or try a mechanical feel keyboard like this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823129060&cm_re=mechanical_keyboard-_-23-129-060-_-Product

This is a good price for this model https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823816042&cm_re=mechanical_keyboard-_-23-816-042-_-Product

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823126445&cm_re=mechanical_keyboard-_-23-126-445-_-Product

I got my son this model https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16823828016 although it's almost double what you were planning to spend but it's a full rgb with fancy lights, he'd love it. <-- actually not that one, the higher end model, there is a red one of that pretty cheap now on sale https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16823828013

I got my son this, it was about $100 on sale https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16823828010
