I’ve been looking for a new cpu, I’d like to be able to use my DDR3 RAM, my budget is around $150 for a CPU and motherboard. I don’t want to use EBay and I don’t plan on overclocking. I want something that won’t bottleneck my RX570. I have an AMD A8-3820. I use it for gaming, stuff like Fallout 4, Just Cause 3, Fallout 76 when it’s released, I’d like to use it for Assassins Creed Odyssey, but my CPU isn’t good enough. I don’t have a preference AMD or Intel. I’m thinking maybe an FX 8350. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/ls/ref=nav_wishlist_lists_1?ie=UTF8&lid=2O6TLBUNOHAEC&ref_=nav_wishlist_lists_1&ty=wishlist

No. Not an FX 8350. You want an i7 3770. It's $100 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Core-i7-3770-Quad-Core-Socket-LGA1155-CPU-Processor-SR0PK-3-40GHz/192686918786?hash=item2cdd090c82:g:8RgAAOSw38Vbv7VA:rk:2😛f:0 it fits right into your budget.

The ASUS Motherboard P8H61-M LX2 R3.0 on ebay is only $50.

It's much better than FX 8350.

And if you need a bios update to get going with the H61 motherboard you can get used Sandy Bridge Pentiums for just under $5.

Thank you, but I would prefer not to use Ebay, because you never know if its been handled or packaged properly, if it has ESD damage or anything like that. And if anyone looks to this page for help.I think I'll stick with the FX 8350, I kind of prefer AMD anyway.
