I am sort of new to doing business online. I am looking for a ATI Radeon 5570 video card for a PCI-e x16 slot. Best buy wants $120 for this card. I want to believe that there is a much lower price out there. Would you guys suggest a dependable online dealer for this purchase please?

Thanks spidermite.

Thanks for the link. I was told that I have a PCI-e x16 slot. The link goes to a card with PCI Express 2.1 x16 Will that work in my machine? Is there a difference between PCI Express X16 and PCI Express 2.1 X16? I have a old IBM ThinkCenter M51 type 8141 running a P4 at 3gig with 300 watt power supply.

"Your power supply in the M51 is not a standard ATX power supply, so upgrading it past 300w might be a problem. Your power supply has standard ATX connections, but it's not the standard size, and doesn't have standard screw hole locations."

Upgrading the PS would be nice but hard to do.
I got suspicious about the power consumption when I saw the cooling fan on the 5570.
What about a Radeon HD 5450

Remember, all I want to do is watch movies and keep my 300 watt ps.

This is getting overwhelming. I found this review at tomshardware.com
"http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-graphics-card,2064-2.html"
sounds like the first card in the review, the Radeon HD 4350, is what I want. When I do a search for this card I get hundreds of variations by different manufacturers. Some with fans some not. How do I find the one that Tomshardware is talking about?

Help me please. I am drowning in choices!!!

Thanks

Are all of the Radeon HD 4350's at Newegg.com basically the same? They look so different, some have fans, some have big heat sinks. If they all could get by with just heat sinks why would they bother putting fans on? Is that all marketing/packaging? Are they all really the same under that stuff? Or do the ones with fans suck down more power?

Thanks for all the input guys. I finally ordered a card from NewEgg. I ordered the SAPPHIRE 100274HDMI Radeon HD 4350. The computer that it is going in will never be used for gaming, it is dedicated to the boob tube, movies and such. The specs for it said 300 watt power supply so that fits the bill.

Thanks again for your patience with this novice.
