Going to be building a PC next month and wanted to get some feedback on the components and if anyone with more experience than I had any suggestions I would be thankful. I am on a budget but I am hoping the system will run FFXIV/H1Z1/Witcher 3/Planetside 2/Dark Souls 3 on some high settings with a decent frame rate. I'm opting not to get a standard hard drive/optical drive as I have plenty of that on other PC's.

Intel Core I5-4690k (OC to 4.0ghz)
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SSC
ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer LGA 1150
XFX TS Edition PRO650W
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Crucial BX100 2.5" 250GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Rosewill CHALLENGER Case
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Thanks guys! looking to pull the trigger on it soon.

Looks good. I have seen some recent issues on that PSU though, might be a bad batch floating around. Check into Antec/SeaSonic 620w if you need headroom for future upgrades. That Case is a good bargain too. I have used it in a few builds, easy to work with, and sturdy.

Look at Jet.com, I just came across it recently, they have a decent coupon for 20% off first order. I found a R9 290 for $210 and a GTX970 for $250 on there using the promo. I think the promo goes to the end of the year if I'm not mistaken. Good build though.

How about a EVGA 120-G1-0650-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 650 W 10 yr Warranty Fully Modular NVIDIA SLI Ready and Crossfire Support Continuous Power Supply? Not many reviews on Newegg but on Amazon theres a ton. I've had experience with EVGA customer support too it was great.

Edit: Probably 1680x1050, But I might do some 1920x1080 too.

I have used that PSU with good success, but I think at some point they switched to Chinese made capacitors on some parts as I have heard, but not witnessed. I would say skip it, the sources are reliable. Try the XFX 550 TS/P1 (not same as pro) if you don't plan on upgrading to a power hungry, higher tier AMD GPU at some point. It's a steal right now for $27. Or pick one you can afford out of the top two tiers on this list:

Your build (GTX 960) can easily handle 1680x1050. And it should be respectable on 1080p also. Maybe not everything cranked up to "ultra" for the newer games but still pretty good.
